The SVL will run under the OSS/APBA rules but I think its called Super Vee limited in SBI. It sounds confusing but it's not.

Merc. 525 or Vortec are approved motors and you will need to run 86-90 MPH to have a chance in calm water. Call me if you are interested in more details.

SVL,
Will be running under SBI rules and they are the same as APBA...If you have any questions guys you really should call SBI. There is a ton of people putting out mis-information.

Frank,
I don't think you have the whole story... Class majority rule. OSS happened's to have the most registered SVL or Superboat Vee Limited as SBI is now calling it. They will not be racing against your Superboat Manf. 1 class, open cockpit boats. OSS also happened's to have to most Cat Lites and Super Cat's, so those boats will also follow OSS rules.

The source, SBI.

Would you care to call SBI or would you like to just wait and see? Why would I make this up?
