Guys,

I've e-mailed KUrt and the GLSCS Board asking for a date for a meeting. I originally was looking at 1/22/05 but that interferes with the Cleveland International Boat Show. So I am now looking at 1/8/05 in Pittsburg, PA. Pittsburg is a great town and the halfway point between our groups. The GLSCS will be putting on a gathering after the meeting for everyone attending (FOOD/ Drink). We need to get things rolling for 2005 and the time is NOW!!!!!!!!!

We need your input ASAP so we can make arrangements.

Way to go GLSCS and OPA!Any movement towards joint races or unification is a great thing for everyone involved with the sport of offshore powerboat racing.Increased boat count,more competitive racing,enthusiastic racers,excited spectators,satisfied sponsors....its all good!

I tried to make the meeting place location somewhere we can all drive to in the same amount of time. We have people coming from Michigan and Chicago. Most of them said there are cheap flights. We have done conference calls in the past and that is not cheap and very impersonal. I feel we need to meet in person to get a feel for everything.

I for one, do not plan to drive 6 hours for a meeting. I think we should have our own meetings and then let the bigs dawgs get together and discuss what their groups want to make this joint effort work.
