I just heard that Todd is done racing,is there any truth to this,I hope not,he is good for the sport and good for the future of the sport. He started in the lower classes and worked his way up,I hope that he continues to run,I heard that Roger Bourget bougt his boat and that he was done.Does anyone know if this is true.

I was told Todd was going back to his roots and getting a SS boat. As of Thursday Bourget WAS NOT buying Todds MTI.

Todd probably won't sell the boat, he'll just add it to his collection of three race boats and 50 hot rods.

Todd is a good guy. He was the original owner of the 3 seater 30' Phantom, and certainly worked his way up through the classes. He will be successful at whatever he does.

He also had (perhaps still has) the 29 open cockpit twin outboard Phantom with ballast tanks, just prior to the Speedster you are referring to.

Is that the old Team Chicago boat? I thought Mel owned that one and it was to be raced as the Gambler. I think Ken Doyle owned it before that.

Todds 29' Phantom was called Phantaseas it was a twin outboard boat. It's been cut up into a center console. He currently has 28' Skater, 29' Phantom, 37' Talon, 36' Spectre or two, 2 40' Skaters, 39' MTI, and a 50+ Searay.
