Merlin steel head? I'm just trying to understand where there is a competitive advantage with aluminum, if all the specs are the same.

Thanks for the note, and I do not disagree with you.

My insurance policy will only let me race with a roof, so I am somewhat limited from a professional perspective.

Now I can promise you, even the guys with the roofs become much more respectful once they have turned one over. Up until the POPRA race in Benicia, we would have fallen into the category you talk of, but after swimming out, we are much more respectfule of the boats limits that we have to honor.

Still, please let me race with all of you!!!! I promise to race nice.
