Factory 1

Last I heard over the winter that the guys who ran the CMS Sutphen in OPA this season bought the 27' Activator from Mark Kowalski and will be running F1 with it this season.
Frank Sarro will be running his 32' Venom and board member Wardey should have his 29' Extreme F1 out there as well. I know his boat is in Ft. Lauderdale being rigged at Grant's Custom Rigging. Not sure who will be running the his boat for him.

This is cut and pasted from the Velocity Forum.
"A new factory 1 boat was just finished, and should be in Miami. It's being run by Mike from Hall's propeller and Bill Park, former super V light national champ."

Is it a done deal and all these boats are running the 496 or which motor are they using? I know the Campbells have a full race Warlock for sale with a 500EFI I think. I talked to BC (Propco) they are waiting to se how many boats actually show up to the first few races and to see what motor is actually used.

I know the rule book is out and it gives all the legal motor configurations.

Frank, keep up the good work on the Factory 1 class. This class will help the future of SBI/APBA and help bring many new teams up from P class. My guess is you will have 10 boats by the end of the year and from there it should explode to 15-25 boats like the good days. Thanks for keeping the best class of racing a live.
