Default Should I Get Drive and trim Indicators?

I'm used to driving fast cats and am going to a Superboat Y2K. I see most V's with drive and trim indicators on the dash. John won't really say yes or no. All he says is he does'nt use them himself. What do you guys think?

I think they are a good thing to have. Unless you know the boat as well as JC I would want to have them.

they give you good reference, we paint a red line @ nuetral ( propshaft parallel with the botom) same with the tabs in the heat of a race its nice to be able to check at a glance plus through testing you will find sweet spots for various conditions not perfect but in the heat you may not have time to feel for it ie. in to turn driveto nuetral and so forth out of turn drive to 2 1/2 than fine tune from there and get the heads up ones you can't afford to look down
just my 2 cents

Gotta have em. Get the new kind that come out of the top of the dash. Super cool.

I don't like the idea of landing on metal rods if you come out of the boat !!!! If you are in a canopy boat strapped in , that's one thing but metal rod's sticking up from the deck or dash in a open boat Dave Warden

How to you run without them? John's a Driver, not on the stix, I always
run the trim and tabs.

If you are racing they are a MUST. I agree with Larry,Eddie and Wardys post. Also whats the disadvantage of having them except the cost.
