Suffing your cat is not good. Hooking a sponson and flipping your boat is not good. Doing a barrel roll down a strait away is not good. This can happen, Running your open canopied cat in a poker run needs to be somewhat slower than a canopied boat for the safety of your passengers and yourself.
on that note, how fast do think my boat will still be stable at? does anyone know how fast any of the apache race boats went? drambuie? genuine draft? bud?
and im asking about perfect conditions ( no other boats, or people in the way )?

A lot of it depends on the water conditions. I don't really know if any body can give you a good answer. The only answer you can probably count on is top speed in smooth water conditions. I,m heading to the airport, talk to you next week.

I think I speak for all of the slower boaters you guys need to BE CAREFUL!!!
Especially till you get some seat time in those things.
We slower boaters don't want to worry about coming through a floating pile of debris and messing up a good prop.

Damn Delo you're callin em out! Just make sure you keep the boat AND yourself in one piece.
You guys need to talk Larry or TF into putting in a tank of high oct fuel at CYC. There's enough guys that will run it.

Not enough to justify installing a new tank and the plumbing and the EPA monitoring etc... etc... etc...
Only the people that are in the oil/gas biz can afford the oil/gas
