Hello, we are heading down to Grand June 22-25, have never been there and were wondering the good places to go. We've been to LOTO several times and like to party in the cove.

Looking for the places to go during the day and the good night spots.

The crew will be on here in the next day or so and give you all the answers you need. Most are probably on their way to the lake right now so things may be quiet for a little bit.

Most folks go to Dripping Springs during the day. It's right across the main channel from Duck Creek. Check out some pics here.

There is also "party" cove/ cruiser cove on the north side of the lake closer to the dam. (Older crowd in here). And Woodard Hollow near monkey island. Monkey island is where most of the bars are located, but there are definitely some good ones in Duck creek including Ugly's Bar and Grill (usually have live bands on Saturday) at Thunder Bay, and Cherokee Yacht Club (have to be with a member here).

It's a great lake!
