Waiting for the 10 PM news. Channel 2 had something about a ongoing search this morning.

This was on the channel 6 website this morning:

Georgia Man Missing After Grand Lake Boating Accident
KOTV - 7/31/2006 5:13 AM - Updated: 7/31/2006 6:10 AM

The Lake Patrol on Grand Lake resumed its search Monday for a Georgia man who's been missing since a hit and run collision this weekend.

35-year-old Murrah McGarver was in the back of a 27 foot boat near Drowning Creek when the boat was hit early Sunday morning. The force of the collision knocked McGarver into the lake.

The second boat left the scene of the accident and hasn't been found.

The driver of the boat McGarver was riding in is John Bandy of Tulsa. He was taken to a Tulsa hospital.

Two other passengers were not hurt.

The choppers fuel and overnight just North of Red Arrow. Could have been normal operations....

It would be interesting to know if the boat that was hit had any running or anchor lights on. 2AM, I am sure alcohol had nothing to do with it either.....

Lake patrol was working all nite to find the boat. It left a blue paint transfer. Looks like the driver is going to make it.
