Where were you last weekend? Have some wine and cheese party to attend? Maybe an Avon show?

Not exactly.....the lake house was over run with extended family so I stayed in town to watch USC slaughter the Hogs. I'll be making up for it this weekend.

The one in the very back of Duck Creek by Duck Creek Yacht sales is public. That is really the only one I know of. It is located just north of Uglys on 85.

Can one pay to launch at the Arrowhead Yacht Club? That looks like it might be a good place to launch from. The state park ramps look to be on the main channel which isn't very protected.

The public ramp is always calm, but there is no dock. Last time I was at Arrowhead their ramp was terrible. Baker's RV park on the East side of Duck Creek has a decent ramp, and they have never said anything to us for using it.

We wound up using the public ramp at the back of Duck Creek. It isn't a bad ramp, but no dock. The parking lot is pretty small too. It worked for us though. The only other problem I can see with that ramp is that I didn't notice any lighting. It coupld be a PITA to get a boat loaded up there after dark!
