Default Frank Beck motor?

Anyone ever heard of him? Lookin at a boat that has a Frank Beck motor in it.. Would sure like to not have to have the motor yanked and gone through by brad before I could enjoy it.. supposedly an Oklahoma motor?

That thread raised a lot of bright red flags IMHO.

Since you are forewarned then it comes down to your choice. Good luck.

Try to buy without power then have Brad build you a fresh motor. Just a suggestion.

Default Yup

Guys, i saw the post that masher put up too...my motor is a Beck 540, but i don't think that i would put any money in this guy's face at this point. He does build one HELL of a motor, mine runs wonderful, (940 @ 6000 on the dyno sheet), but it sounds like he MAY be having financial difficulties. It's tough out there for these guys right now, so BE CAREFUL. Beck had a flawless rep until this happened, and the fact that it's only happened once (maybe?) could mean it was a bad customer, but reading the posts it sure didn't sound like it...

BTW what boat are you looking to buy anyway with a beck in it? Pics??
