If OU and the Gators play in Miami, I'll set up the party and GatorOne and EDock can pay for it. :evilb:
|
I watched that plane circle over Stillwater for 4-5 hours on Sat. before the game, that desperate Longhorn wasted alot of fuel.

Sooner schmooner. Check out MY alma mater...UNDEFEATED. Ok...so it's a once-in-a-lifetime deal, but MAD MAD props to the mighty Cardinals of BALL STATE UNIVERSITY! Unofficial motto....we'd rather Ball U than IU....or OU as it were.

Wholy chit!!!! This picture is real........flow today, was hoping we'd show a little more class than that. 2009 game will bring a whole new definition to the "red river rivalry"
|
Probably need to go ahead and get the W before breaking out the banners.
|
One more to go.

lol @ Texas.....
I had SOME sympathy for them until watching their whiney asses the last two weeks. The only thing better than seeing Mack Brown being reminded that they aren't even the best in their conference, AGAIN......would be to see them get blown out by The Buckeyes. http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/7931/butbutgn8.jpg |

Twas the night before the BCS and all through the land,
> not a Gator was stirring, not even the band. > Their Jockeys were hung by the locker with care, > in hopes that the Sooners soon would be there . > Tebow was nestled all snug in his bed, > while visions of glory danced in his head. > And Meyer in his kerchief full of Florida pride , > and Bob and the Sooners ready to ride. > When down in Miami there arose such a clatter, > Harvin sprang from his bed to see what was the matter. > He realized the Option was gone in a flash , > and Tebow's dreams of running had just been dashed. > The Gator running backs trembled as they watched the show, > A Crimson and Cream luster set the horizon aglow . > When what to their wondering eyes should they find, > but a miniature Schooner, seven National Titles behind. > With a wizened old driver, skilled in leading his troops, > they knew in a moment it must be Bob Stoops. > More rapid than Texas his players they came, > and he whistled and shouted and called them by name. > "On Bradford , on Gresham, now Madu and Murray! > On Chris Brown! <"And off to the the Phillipines Tebow goes"

Should a heck of a game. I am lifetime Gator fan (and grad) and I fired up to play Stoops. He is great coach and a talented team, should be a great game. Seems lots of people think OU is gonna roll in their and score 60+ on thier way to easy victory. That is fine, everyone told me that in AZ in 06 too. You keep thinking Tebow and Harvin is all we got and your gonna blow Florida out. Now anyone have any ticket connections? Geez I am dieing down here trying to find two for reasonable $$.

Gator?
Not sure that everyone here is thinking easy OU win. In fact I can guarantee ya that. We have been here enough to know better. Gators have the line by 3. Believe me, everyone here, including stoops and the entire team is well aware of what happened in the USC game.
There is one HUGE difference this time, however-- we lost the horrific CHUCK LONG. That guy single-handedly lost one, and MAYBE two national championships games. Much of Stoops' failures in the last 7 years can be attributed to keeping that guy around TOO LONG. That guy couldn't call a play to save a life! To prove it, look what Big-boy Mangino has done at Kansas since winning the national Champ with OU!! And Long's record out in California as a head coach was horrible...he just got fired. So, yes, OU has a great chance!!! Stoops, if you are listening, PLEASE don't make any of your now signature, but rare stupid calls. Like going for it on 4th and 3 on your own 40, etc... PLEASE!! :angry-smiley-038: |
