Yeah, after a few times, it was better to just gun it up the middle and hit the 2nd wave. We were over 100 hitting the 2nd-3rd wave on a few when the Carver was at the right RPM's. We hit 115ish coming up the back from probably a mile or just less out. We did hit it at speeds under 100 the majority of the time. The water was perfect all around it.

Gotta send out a special thank you to one of my favorite people. 
Jim Lee graciously allowed us to use his house at Grand Lake as H2O Headquarters for the weekend. Very cool, and very convenient, it really made our job a lot easier.
