Thanks guys, looking forward to it. I just realized that I will not have the luxury of launching at clearwater Bay marina anymore, my house is on that side of the damn and close to the marina.Does anyone know of an alternate route from Tulsa besides coming from Grove to get to Disney? I drove over the Dam yesterday and my F-250 with a ATV trailer is pushing it. Thanks

You can do it by going south on 82 from Langley down to Hwy 20 and go east on 20 until you hit Hwy 28 and then back north/west on 28. And yes, it is all pretty much curvy 2 lane highway with no shoulders. You might want to drive it before you try it with the boat.

Other option would be to have someone go across the dam in front of you and have them block traffic before you start to cross the dam but you better have a wide load permit to do that.

Both Hammerhead and Willow Park are easy to get to.

Larry, we used to have our hazmat chemicals brought to my warehouse in disney and some of the drivers refused to use the dam. Instead of turning left on 28 at Napa Auto in Langley, keep going straight. Thatll take you towards Jay. You'll pass the Spavinaw turnoff and it turns into hwy 20. Make a left on 28 and that brings you in the back way to your turn off and skips the dams. It adds about 15 min to your drive. What ramp are you planning on using on this side of the lake? Hi-Lift would be your best choice if you don't want to use the public ramp (NO DOCK, NO WAY TO GET TO THE BOAT ONCE ITS OFF THE TRAILER! LOL) at Disney island.

You won't need to prerun the course, its plenty wide. Our tractor trailers use it everyday. Theres 2 90* turns, thats about the only snag, but theres plenty of room...

That and that fat pig of a disney cop wouldn't get off his azz to help out even if you did decide to wideload it across there. He stood us up twice. I don't even waste my time on him anymore. GRDA will send a couple guys up to block the dam. But its on THEIR schedule..
