Well, I sold the Limits and replaced it with this. Im still trying to understand why somebody would put a big John Deer sticker on top of the bow of the Skater.:angry-smiley-038:

HiPerf360 12-02-2011 03:03 PM

I really hate to see you have to downgrade.

I pick up 5mph and you pick up 40+

Good looking boat!!

LV 12-02-2011 04:33 PM

I'ts a 36 classic with a cut down deck, Im not sure how many of these were built but i'm thinking not many. It's similar to a 368 in style but its not as wide as the 368 by 8" I THINK, BLEE would know more about the differences .Im not 100 percent sure on power yet, I still have the mills from the Outerlimits that Brad built so I might just stick those in and get some seat time. The little Devil on my left shoulder keeps whispering "booooost" in my ear, we all know what the little angel(wife) on the right is saying!:angry-smiley-038:

Whats the deal with all the fat guys on GLOC buying skaters? Lose some hair, gain a new chin

Just what I needed to see. Another old fvcker thinking he's cool with his tunnel boat wearing a Rolex with no shirt on :picard1:

I took him up on his offer to run it around with him next season yesterday, so I'm extra pumped for Spring now!

LV 12-18-2011 07:11 AM

Thanks guys, looking forward to it. I just realized that I will not have the luxury of launching at clearwater Bay marina anymore, my house is on that side of the damn and close to the marina.Does anyone know of an alternate route from Tulsa besides coming from Grove to get to Disney? I drove over the Dam yesterday and my F-250 with a ATV trailer is pushing it. Thanks

oksunny 12-18-2011 01:22 PM

Just put in at hammerhead or willowpark

E Dock DD 12-18-2011 08:21 PM

You can do it by going south on 82 from Langley down to Hwy 20 and go east on 20 until you hit Hwy 28 and then back north/west on 28. And yes, it is all pretty much curvy 2 lane highway with no shoulders. You might want to drive it before you try it with the boat.

Other option would be to have someone go across the dam in front of you and have them block traffic before you start to cross the dam but you better have a wide load permit to do that.

Both Hammerhead and Willow Park are easy to get to.

waterboy222 12-19-2011 10:21 AM

Larry, we used to have our hazmat chemicals brought to my warehouse in disney and some of the drivers refused to use the dam. Instead of turning left on 28 at Napa Auto in Langley, keep going straight. Thatll take you towards Jay. You'll pass the Spavinaw turnoff and it turns into hwy 20. Make a left on 28 and that brings you in the back way to your turn off and skips the dams. It adds about 15 min to your drive. What ramp are you planning on using on this side of the lake? Hi-Lift would be your best choice if you don't want to use the public ramp (NO DOCK, NO WAY TO GET TO THE BOAT ONCE ITS OFF THE TRAILER! LOL) at Disney island.

You won't need to prerun the course, its plenty wide. Our tractor trailers use it everyday. Theres 2 90* turns, thats about the only snag, but theres plenty of room...

Clearwater Bay, I have used it for years, good people! And thanks for the route, I dont have the balls to go over the dam either!

waterboy222 12-19-2011 12:16 PM

That and that fat pig of a disney cop wouldn't get off his azz to help out even if you did decide to wideload it across there. He stood us up twice. I don't even waste my time on him anymore. GRDA will send a couple guys up to block the dam. But its on THEIR schedule..

Quinlan 12-19-2011 05:44 PM

Im tellin ya man the Toppsy church road.
Or you give me 30 min heads up and I WILL block the dam!
You might have saw what I did on 1st st downtown today right?
2 semis, 3 box trucks 3 vans and not 1 ticket!
