Default US 23 vs I 275/75

I need to drive to Louisville Wed morning. I live in Waterford MI, just north of Pontiac Mi (Silverdome) M 59 area. I can go either on 275 to 75 through Toledo or on US 23 through Ann Arbor and to southern OH that way. Just wondering if anyone knows if the construction is still bad on 75 near downtown Toledo, or if there is any major construction on 23.
I have not been on either of those roads in close to a year so any input would be helpful. Thanks

Also some construction on 71 and 75 between Cincy and Louisviille, but traffic moves pretty well anyway if you're not in rush hour. Depending on what time you head down there you might want to take 275 west above Cincy and head around through Indiana and pick up 71/75 at Florence to avoid downtown Cincinnati traffic....Almost forgot. There is some construction at the top of our 275 loop too, but it still beats fighting downtown Cincinnati rush hour traffic.

thanks, I plan to be on the road around 7:00 make an early customer lunch stop in Dayton, and be out of Cincy well before rush hour. I would like to be in Louisville before 3:30
I really prefer doing 23 so hopefully there is no major construction.

Dave when you came this way to OPA's did you do 23 or 275? BTW did you wind up using those parts?

I decided to take 23 and did run into that patch, cost me about .5 hr but that was not to bad, driving through OH was a killer I can't belive it is still on 65 MPH and two lanes, took me about 1.5 more hours than map quest. Then last night driving home through the storms was awfull, especially around cincy, drover for hours under 30 MPH, took me 8 hrs
