Just wondering if anyone made it down there yet? I think it's running 9/20 through 9/23. If anyone has been there, is there anything that I just have to see? In the market for a 32-35' V hull for next year. Thanks, Nick

.I just got back. Formula has a '07 35' fastech with 525's. Also an '06 29' with 80 hours on 350 mags.
I was looking for something in the 24-30 range. Other than a 26 Outlaw, there wasn't anything there. Lots of smaller recreation and fishing boats. And a crapload of giant cruisers!

Yeah, I was dissapointed and I don't think I was the only one. If anybody had an offshore boat they wanted to sell, they could have put their phone number on a giant "For Sale" sign and trolled the water next to the show.

Thanks guys, glad I didn't waste my time. How are you supposed to look at offshore boats to compare them to one another when no show around attracts anything worth looking at? I've been to all the south eastern Michigan shows and there really isn't much to see. Guess I'll have to go to Miami

The Metro Beach Boat Show use to be one of the best in-water shows around here with plenty of Offshores to look at and board. Those days are long gone and I will not waste my time going to look at fishing boats and big cruisers only. This Boat Show has gone the same way as the Detroit Cobo Centre Boat Show. Just a couple of Offshores to look at and no one can board them. It is a shame because I use to look forward to going to both of these Boat Shows. Part of the blame has to go to the Offshore Powerboat Manufactures for not making sure there boats are on display at these two shows.
