The company I work for stocks many sizes, colors and styles of LED lights. See the nav lights that I converted over to LED. These are NOT your "run of the mill" LED lights.

Look like pretty healthy LED's!, I think I have most of them sourced, but, please provide some info on the company and/or a website so I can check them out, I have changed some of my gauge bulbs, but, they aren't as bright as I had hoped, but, what do you want for $8/dozen!

Thanks for the help!

Try www.newark.com they've always had what we needed. Keep in mind too you can put resistors or voltage dividers inline to change the output as well. I still like the blue the best and that is what's going in my boat's cabin/cockpit and engine compartment.

Red is the way to go if you want to retain your night vision. Most gauge lights in an aircraft are red for a reason, they do not ruin your night vision. A dimmer on boat gauges would be a great addition.

Yesterday I could not spell pilot today I are one.

Yes, I went with red, wasn't sure about the compass light?, can it be "red"? or does it need to be white?, I cant remember if there is a law or rule or something.

I think you need some special adapters/capacitors to hook up a dimmer switch to LED's?, but, not sure.

You do not need a special dimmer for bulbs sold by Superbrightleds.
