Your best bet is probably south river road launch. The 696 construction has been a real pain the last few weekends. A 32' skater is relatively easy to tow so I would take 696 to 75 north to rochester road / big beaver (16mile). Then take 16 mile across. That will take you to both Metro and the South River launch. You can launch at both, but metro has a long idle to get the lake. S. River is next to a coast guard station so make sure you're legal! :drink:

It's the Macomb County Sheriff station, they have been ok with performance boaters. Many of the Marine Officers are performance boaters too. On Sundays even South River road can backs up down by the DNR ramp, but maybe not this year with the economy ?
