Hey Guys!
I smoked the stock [65amp] alternator in my Baja this weekend, anyone have a good used one lying around?, I have priced rebuilt ones, and new ones, and would Love to update to something with a few more amps, but, right now just want to find something to get me back on the water [cheap!]
If anyone has any leads post here, or send me a PM, Thanks alot goys! the weather is FINALLY starting to warm up "here", so, it would be nice to get back out!
I need a V belt style, 4 wires coming out the back, any input is always appreciated!
here are the part numbers I have
NO 805884P
Vendor Part Number:AC 165610
SAE Marine J11-77
Thanks!

Step up to a 1 wire 105 amp. Inexpensive and I know 3 friends using these with no problems. I ran 2 engines for one season off of just one alternator on one engine.
They also have the 4 wire your looking for.

My alternator has 4 wires, and one of them is the tach drive, so, I dont think a single wire one will work, plus, I live in Canada, so, $70 for shipping, is a little pricey, thanks for the link though!

Hey guys!
I am actually at my cottage near Kingston (Wolfe Island) but live in Oshawa. I found a fellow In Kingston who rebuilt it for me, just needed a good cleaning and a voltage regulator, I did notice the alternator only puts out 65 Amps. I would think an EFI set up with a big stereo and 2 batteries would need a little more amps, so, in the fall I will look at upgrading to at least 100 amps, maybe more? THANKS again for all the help!
