We ran up to Gull Island last week from Toledo, I thought it would be bigger???

Yes it is a small island, but it gets out of hand, we usually run over friday at noon and head back at sun set for a hard throttle run back in, best spot is on the south west side.

I was just showing the island to some people, then we headed over to the moot, and hung out there for a few hours, then shot up to strawberry...

You going to be out there friday? We'll have a grouip of 30 boats coming in around 8:45a.m on northside of island try to join in with us. I'm not sure if Smurf will be with us I think he has to work.

Nope... I got it off!!!! I will be joining you guys Thursday night for the meet and greet, and then will be back early in the am with the boat and crew... staying the night on the water friday night, and doing the fun run on Saturday... Prolly head home saturday night and be back out sunday!!!

I am sure we will hang out for a while, but my buddy has to get home to his wife and kids, im not going to hang out there without any other crew in the boat... So I will be back out sunday with everyone.

Theres a DJ back at the marina in the pavillion on Saturday night. It'll be rocking for sure. More the merrier.

They just can't leave anything alone can they?! Not that we need a bunch of drunks out there, but they make everyone so paranoid it's rediculous. Makes me not even want to go, because you know all of St. Clair will be targeted that weekend.

I agree, but don't let it ruin your weekend. Just keep one person on 2 drinks or less a hour and you got a driver that can pass a BUI stop.

I know, but you know what I mean. I don't know about Friday now, we are soooo backed up at work that I don't know if I can leave, let alone get anyone to come with me. I'll know later in the week. We'll be there at 9am so we don't have to swim to get to the island. Leaving St.Clair marina at 8:15am but we'll only be running around 50 as we have a couple cruisers with us.

I guess you have a point my plan is to leave at 8:30or 9 then.

Unless your meeting someone out there your more than welcome to join us on the northside of the island. We should hit there around 8:45. Theres 30 of us running up there.

That might be a plan im only heading out with a buddy if he makes it to the dock when we are ready to leave I told him im leaving when I wake up. Any plans for the fireworks? I was planning on staying in but I have some people that are bugging me to go so I figure maby put the boat to a little test being that I have the left outdrive off as we speak.

I think we'll have to leave at 7:30 on our cruiser because I don't want to run that 496HO at full throttle! We want to have enough gas to run the generator so we can keep the blender running!:ernaehrung004:

Did you have your boat stored in harrison twp? I think your boat was in the same building, clean boat!

Yeah, thats me. Just took it out for the first time on Monday. ran great after getting a jump at the dock. Batteries need charging.
