Weather permitting, some LEOPA members are planning to run over to Put-in-Bay on Saturday 8/15. We are meeting in the shipping channel at the Toledo Light House (just west of Monroe). The plan is depart the Light House for PIB promptly at 10:00 am. Everyone is welcome, no membership required. We can cruise at a fast clip 
Nothing formal, but post if you think you might come so we can be looking for you.
We are betting on a perfect day...light clouds, 5-15 knot winds out of the SE...1-2' waves. If all this happens, I will buy all the first beer at Frosty's....

Cool, was that taken at Lyman Boat works? I went over there Saturday after the Sand Bar. Neil Diamond tribute band, yay. That may have been the boat, it looked a little darker than that, but like I said it was far away. Regardless, it was pretty badass watching him make those passes and drinking a Corona while the sun went down. See you guys at the Poker Run and/or Sandbar, I'll be in the old Amberjack "Stiff Ripples", party boat. Guess I have to make a few more bucks to be able to cruise wtih the big boys.

Thanks for the invite, I'll look out for you at the party Saturday. I was gonna try to drive to Michigan City for the race after the sandbar. I really wanna see these boats up close. Hope to see all you guys at the Bay next Saturday so I can check out some boats. Safe boating till then.
