Don't waste your time unless you've heard Sunsation is going to be there. There's no Performance boat dealers left in the area other than them. Baja was the only one that even took boats there before. It'll be ski-boats, cruisers and pontoons.

That's sad. An Ohio Donzi dealer (the owner's name was Billy) use to bring up some Donzi's, and there use to be Fountains, and Formulas at the Detroit Boat Show too... This economy is chit...

No more gofast at the boat show, went last year and not what it used to be but still fun for the winter boater things to do. Just dont expect the high performance market to be there.

I used to do the show every year. I remember the first visit at the show with Terry Sobo he was selling Black Thunder at the time

The show got my interest in BT and I ordered a new BT a year or two after my visit with Terry

Later I started selling BT and did the Detroit show for many years

The last year or two I was involved with boat sales we had brought a Nor Tech to the show and things were dwindling as far as good prospects go for our type of boat

Now days you can shoot a cannon down the aisles and not hit anyone during the weekdays

Sad, it was a fun show for us but both Detroit and Chicago have no longer the Market to present an offshore boat

Very very sad
