What is the docking like? I've drove by and it looks like the only dockage is along the seawall on the river. If so, there has to be lots of motion there. Also, is anything ever going on at the Pier 500 bar/restaurant? I never see anyone there.

Have not been to the pier in years, not sure if there docks are big enough for the big boats but will have to take a look. Was at JB's yesterday for lunch and the food was excellent, very nicely renovated and nice staff, the pier for docking is also very nice and was not bad at all for tieing up, will be sure to come back with the boat next time, also the tiki bar is right next to the public ramp and could give you hours of entertainment on a busy weekend. Two thumbs up and look forward to stopping again next time. Laszlo

That ramp is steep too. It is almost impossible to put a boat with any length back on the trailer becasue of the steep angle. I agree any ramp on a busy weekend is full of entertainment, but add the steep ramp an you will certainly have hours of great entertainment. You will rack up a hell of a bar tab....:ernaehrung004:
