Whats the story on this place? I never hear any thing about it. Do they have good eats? Cold beer? Looking for places to eat on the river when not in the mood for Portafino's

The pier 500 has been around for ever! Never really know what kind of crowd that will show up at night.The food is about avg for such a place.The proplem is the docking only four slips and they are open to alot of the rivers rage.When I stopped it was usally at nite when the water was laying down(back to the questionable crowd).
But if your really confindent about your skills and or u own a clunker and your boat is small enough you might be able to tuck it in and tie it away from everything on all four corners.
Order lunch and eat on thier nice deck all the while getting a tummy ache worrying that no rogue wave happens along!
