I use this one to check lake conditions, too. Usually fairly accurate.

Does anyone know of a good site to check for Lk. St. Clair depths? From what I understand "Sand Island" is now visible in Anchor Bay. I'd like to put that one on the GPS for night time nav.!

I use this (http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/dsdt/cwtg/glakes_tmap.html) too, not good for Lake Mi., great for Fl and the rest of the country.

Yeah, I saw that site WT, I'm more looking for a site that has a map of the lake with depth fluctuations on it. That site seems to only have graphs of average water depths.

The depths change and they don't update yearly. I'm not sure how often they do it, but your best bet is to go out in day and spend time marking areas you run at night.

Oh God, PLEASE dont let my wife see this post, She complains constantly about how chilly the water is, if she actually "knows" how cold it is I will NEVER get her out of the boat, LOL!!

That's what I generally do. I spend a decent amount of time cruising around Gull Island at the beginning of every season to see how the water depth changes over there. It is pretty dramatic in some parts. I was just hoping to find a website that could save me a few hours of boating maintenance and $60 in gas!
