I've been up on Mendota lately hanging out at picnic point if I am on the Madison lakes. Lots of room to run and less crowded.

I've been thinking about starting a post to see if anyone wants to get together for a day on Mendota. Any interest anyone? I'm thinking second weekend (sat) of August.

Havent ventured to Mendota yet this year, I would love to go to agathering, but the second weekend in August I will be in MN for NHRA national event. I am thinking of trying to get a few buddies together and tie up for Auquapolooza in 2 weeks tho!

Hey All..new to this site but am very active on a few other sites. If you do plan a get-together, I'd like to join in. Did one in Madison & LOTO last year and it was a great time. I'm running a Baja Boss 275 and love boating in Madison. However, my playground is Lake Michigan since I live on the lake in Racine. Just my .02 worth, but 8/14 is a good weekend for me. Would love to run with someone who knows Castle Rock & Wisc Lake well...I'm leery of running a lake I don't know to steer clear of the hazards. Heading to KY/TN in a couple of weeks...a gem called Dale Hollow...beautiful lake with islands on it. Mike
