Default Long Board Skiing

Has anyone from this Great Lakes area ever long board water skied? It's something I have wanted to try for a while but I've never even seen anyone doing it.

I've always wanted to try it as well. I've been asking around to try to find someone who has a board... No luck. Doesn't seem too poular around here.

Hi SutPhil - exactly what is a long board ski? Is it an extra long wakeboard or a 2' x 4' x 3/4 plywood tied to the boat?

I guess it's just a West Coast thing here in North America. Too bad because it looks like great fun. The price of a ski will keep me on the dock.
