I would be game for Lake WI, lots of sand to hang out at, though its gets pretty congested with toons and jetskis up river. I have avoided the Madison lakes this year and most of last year, dirty ass water, plenty of idiots, and power hungry WP, also pretty shallow this year.
But Castle Rock is great to get out and run hard on, lots of space even on a busy weekend, also a good amount of go fast boats on that lake.
