Any horror stories about not displaying the special "sticker" for having a boat >30' in length?

oh yeah google Sarnia Bay Marina, its a very nice marina (across from Port Huron) near the blue water bridge, we stay on our boat every year

Can you give any advice on a good place to watch from the water?

I would say that the best place to watch would be just east of Sinbad's. They will not let you get real close but it is the best spot I think. If you go to watch , you should make sure that you are there by 11:30 AM because at 12 noon an F-18 Jet Fighter should be coming in low from Selfridge Air Force Base right over you and he puts on such a great show for about 15 minutes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then there will be an Aerobatic Plane also putting on a show for 15 minutes.
