My 270 is still in shrink wrap until I get some serious interest. Lots of calls from Michigan where PQ was built but when they hear Edmonton it's over. People in Mi. know the boats and I am priced way low to move it. PQ is mostly unkown here so people don't realize the deal! Anyway Wabamun would be a good place to water test the 270 for someone serious. |
We got kicked off the dock due to nothing more than the length of the boat. Some rule about no boats bigger than 23ft and some one sent a formal complaint I was told. We have a cabin out at Wabamun at the far west end (seba beach). The lake is the best around Edmonton IMO because it's big enough to cruise with out just doing laps. You would have no issues launching at the main pier in Wabamun but that is the only place to launch. the launch is about 20' deep but it does get shallow once you leave the dock. There are a few nice boats out there but no 38's lol. 2 Nordic's down the beach from our place 1- 26' and 30' (single whipple on a 496). I had the chance to tag along with the owner of the 30' down in lake Havasu this winter. His other boat is a 38' fountain with twin 600's, nicest boat I've been on.
Let me know how you made out in the Shwap! |
Havin' a great time. Up to Seymour yesterday, maybe Copper island tomorrow. Boat is purring along perfectly!
