Lake St Clair boating

Talking of taking my 18' CC up there for a weekend, around the Harrison Twp/Roseville area.
Was in the area 4 years ago looking at boats and found some neat restaurants on the water, etc. Is there any place that is a must to see or go to?
As far as lodging, plenty of hotels in the area it appears at a decent price that is only 4-5 miles from the water. Is there a marina to keep the boat at in that area?
Thanks.

Brown's Bar on the middle channel. Study a paper chart. you can get in trouble on that lake especially the north part and near the channels. Find sand island and stay clear of that. Here is a very cool interactive chart: http://www.marinecruiser.com/chart.html
