I will never forget working the boat show in Michigan City one year. The lake was blasting, I don't remember how big, but the channel that the floating docks was rolling 6' easy. It was like a roller coaster just to walk out to the boats.
Anyway it's about 9am and this 25'ish sail boat starts heading out the channel. It was funny watching all these people just stop and watch this boat head out. Everyone was like are they crazy. It was about 10 min latter that the coast guard boat goes flying out. About 20 min after that here comes the coast guard boat back into the channel pulling a sail boat with a missing mast. A couple people on the boat were still tossin breakfast as they went by.

No that is 28 Pantera water, lol. But seriously we are going up in the morning and I am prying the wind slows down ALOT because we are planning on boating over to Cleveland from Marblehead tomorrow for the game Sunday. I sure hope the wind does not screw up my birthday weekend and make me drive over Sunday, that would really stink. I have been looking forward to this for 2 months.

Highest the bouy has read so far is 6.9 foot, and it looks like the wind shifted out of the NE.
