I'm planning on exploring Charlevoix area in mid August. I have condo lined up.

Looking to slip boat at Municipal marina, or would Yacht club be better? Ramp over by Irish boat shop ok?

Looks like we can day trip in any direction. (I know, should have done poker run)

ramp by irish is great to use. We've been staying at irish 1 week a year for the past 2 years following boyne thunder. Great Marina, great friendly staff, nice facilitys etc.

+2 for Ramp by Irish. Very easy In/Out. I prefer the Municipal marina simply for the convenience it offers to the downtown area (bars). Char is a great place to spend some time. We bounce between there and BC all summer.

Did someone say Boyne City!!! USA Today has got Lake Charlevoix in the top of #1 Lakes!!
