You should go to the Apostle Islands on the 10th! Awesome place and a large group getting together.

You going for sure? You going to camp out / anchor off, or sleeping at a hotel?

Here is my 1990 Baja 265 DVX. Name is Rob, boats name is Natural High. Every one is welcome to have a beer . I'm heading to Green Lake (Spicer) this weekend and will be meeting up with Steve in his Baja 232 islander.

Here is my boat.
Wife and I usually are the only ones out. Typically we are just sun/swim worshipers
Will have to hit up Green sometime, Does not look all that big on the map, how far across is it?
We have thought about Koronis out of Paynesville, but we looked at the launches a couple weekends ago and was not impressed
I really do want a Crosslake weekend this year. But the drive is long. Is there any places to stay on the water?

Shore to shore Green lake is about 3.5 miles one way and 2.5 the other. Koronis is WAY small!!

The Smallest lake I put in at is Sugar lake just down the road from me. **** I'll be there right after work (4:30ish) tonight with a just ski also. We go to Sugar during the work week since it is a short drive. Probably about 30 min drive for you. Google "sugar lake wright county" . it is about 2 miles long, 1/2 wide. Got to use the south access for our boats. 28-30' is probably the biggest I would want to put in. Also make sure you have a river prop on. The landing is shallow.

Weekend up on cross is always fun. We spent Wends-Sat up there over the 4th. Would have been sunday be rain moved in on sat.

Yes there is lots of spots to anchor off and over night. If your the camping type bring a tent and bug spray. There is "big island" and 2 other islands that has fire wood, and camping spots for tents. Its free, they jsut ask for donations. They stock the wood in the winter hulling it accross the Ice.

Let me know a weekend that you might want to go up to cross.

Im sure we will be going up once more this year. Either wknd of 10th or 17th. Prob the 17th.

Thinking about Green Lake this weekend, depending on how cool it gets
Was planning it last Sunday, but mother nature told me to stay home
What launch is best for a 28' lenght.

Ya, i hear you about the weather. Forecasting maybe 70. Might to a little chilly for me. The weekend of Sep 20,21,22 I want to get out some where. Hopefully green. If you go give me a call or text. I have nothing going on this weekend so far

Best launch on green is right in Spicer. Take 94 (towards st.cloud) Take exit 164 for Hwy 23. Turn Right onto 23 (south) and take that all the way to Spicer. Once in Spicer your going to turn right onto Lake street (there is a gas station right on the corner along with a stop light). Then take the very first right again (witch is also lake street) There is Public access sings up leading the way.

Once you see the access on your left, keep driving one block north, (Medayto Ave) that is where you turn into launch (left turn).

Link below is google map of the launch
