Default Port Dover,ON Poker Run Or get Together?

Would anyone be interested in doing a poker run in the Port Dover, ON area summer of 2014 or even a get together and take a trip somewhere together?

Interested in a get together, boat not fast enough for a poker run. 272 Baja. Any weekend is good except July long weekend. Heading to Lake St. Clair for Jobbie Nooner that weekend.

I am assuming from what I see on the internet that Jobbie Nooner is about the same as Pottahawk? Looks interesting but to bad it is in the US for me!

It's 3 1/2 hrs from Waterford. And waaaaaay bigger than the Pissup. If you're interested we're at Lake St. Clair Run. Com, ( LSCR). Check out the site, you won't find a bunch of nicer people to hang with. My user name over there is Peter. Someone hung a handle on me. They call me Santa Saggy Balls. Come over and say hello. And bring a sense of humour with you. Peter. And yes there are Canadian boats on that site.

Just introduce yourself on LSCR, and get involved in the topics. I will post that I brought you over from here. I know once you get to know the people you'll find how great they really are. They don't care if you have a Cigarette or a canoe. Just bring your sense of humour. Peter.

There you go Jason, you just met the fella that started the club. Went to the August event last year. Made me feel like I knew them for years. Peter

Hey guys,

I will spend some more time on the clubs web site this weekend when I have a little more time and as good as Jobbie Nooner looks I would much prefer to do the rest of the weekend with some great people that enjoy the the same interests as my girlfriend and I. BOATING!

I guess what I mean is if Jobbie Nooner is anything like Potta Hawk is if interesting to be there but also great to leave it where as I could spends weeks on my boat and have but having the right people with a sense a humor just makes it much more enjoyable.

What are you running on the lake Peter?

Irishtorando, I am please to learn of the club you have created and look very forward to becoming another friend out on the lake.

The nooner is Friday only. I've not been to the June one, it looks like a booze fest but it's not. Our group is more into socializing and boating. I know they take I believe 2 cruises, one on Thursday and Saturday. Saturday nite is the big farewell party. Throw your thoughts on the board, as I said they are fantastic people. You'll probably get a few knocks about being Canadian, but it is all in fun. As Irish says if you can't take it, don't dish it. As what we have is a 272 Baja with a 502. Plans are to move up into something bigger down the road. Age wise were both 59, but young at heart.
