Marblehead,Port clinton marinas with rack storage?
Thinking of moving from Sandusky further west next season. Just want to get closer to the islands. Any input on marinas in the PC,Marblehead area that have rack storage for a 30ft boat>? Quality of service and grounds?
Thanks All

http://marinas.com/view/marina/7614_..._United_States can't find website info its ran under skipper buds has Cleats sports bar in marina probably the nicest but most expensive but close to islands also just dredged last year is in east harbor
http://anchorsawaymarina.com in west harbor deep water access to lake erie bar and restaurant also closer to islands
The first two are probably the best two I've been at both at marina del isle now as anchors away is about 30' max there was a couple 42 fountains at marina del isle both in marblehead others in port clinton
http://www.lakeeriemarina.com/ open to lake not sure of amenity
http://brandsmarina.com you would have to talk to them its says 27' but some will go longer depending on boat
http://www.morningstarmarinas.com farther west in port clinton direct lake access but farther from islands
hope this helps also most marinas will also tell you who else has racks if your boat will not fit

Iv been to skipper buds before but by land. Def seems to be a nice place. Do they have a pool and club house? Overnight dockage for rack customers? I'm going to head out that way over x-mas brake and check out several of those listed above in person. Just ready for a change!

Yes they have a pool, dockage for rackers although they will tell you it is not guaranteed, have never heard of anyone having a problem docking over night. They also have a club house that they let dockers use. We dock our Formula there, we are at A24 and have been there for about 10 yrs now. They also have cleats restaurant there.

I used to rack at Anchors away, but the Cig is too heavy for them so now I rent summer storage and put the boat away every weekend and they really take care of me with that, and the people are amazing there, I love it! I wish I could rack the Cig with them, I looked at Skipper buds, but its hard to swallow the 2600 a year after being used to not paying barely anything to put it in a building every weekend...
