Default ohio port Clinton boat launch

Does anyone know any place if i bring my boat down to launch to go to put in bay for a few days...I need a place that will suit to launch a 38ft boat and leave truck and trailer at the parking lot.

I second Catawaba Island pretty much a straight shot to the island with plenty of parking right there

I would highly suggest Mazurik state access. Catawba is doable, but Mazurik is much better for the bigger boats. Catawba can be tight with a 40+' trailer, and it is not protected like Mazurik so the ramp can get rough at times.

Most of us that run to the islands use this ramp, secure parking, and no hassles overnight.

When are you coming over?

Mazurik's for sure right on the lake. A lot less car traffic then trying to go thru Catawba...

Another vote for Mazurik, never had an issue. Overnight with truck and trailer is no problem.

Mazurik's or Sandusky City Launch. There is also Dempsey's, similar to Mazuriks but on the bay side of Marblehead. I know people that have used it but have not done so myself yet.

I gotta agree with RT and the others.... Mazurk or Sandusky is your best bet.

If we bring the boat it would be friday afternoon/night and hope to find a parking spot on put-in-bay or if that is a bad idea head out early am on sat morning

still dont know what to do...weather if its going to be good or not..and if we want to stay on the boat at put in bay or stay in port clinton and take jet express back and forth...Downside to jet express last boat leaves put in bay at 12:15am
