Hi Jason,

I live in Muskego and if you have any questions about the area just let me know. Best of luck with the move. One of my good friends runs a 46 BT down the Milwaukee River all the time; maybe we will run into you next year. Franklin's taxes are very high--I'd avoid it if at all possible.

We are getting settled here in Wisconsin, so far so good. We ended up getting a 3 month lease while we look for homes. The ordinances are pretty restrictive within 20-25miles of Waukesha, WI. I can not find any areas that allow over 1200 square foot accesory stuctures, this is a problem since I am looking for 2500+ square feet. Keep in mind we are looking to stay in Waukesha County.

Thanks for all the advice.

I lived in Pewaukee for about a year. You would probably have better luck with the outbuilding thing in a smaller town like Pewaukee or maybe even Sussex.(I think it is in Waukesha County). As far as building there are a couple bigger ones with a flexible owner across 94 from the home depot on Bluemound. He also owns the ones next to Home Depot. Don't know if your still looking but hope that helps.

HeHe ..that's where I live....Pewaukee / Sussex used to be big lots with unlimited lot use however that changed a few years ago with tighter lot restrictions. Might need to look North of Waukesha Cty to get the ability to build a shed that size. Welcome to WI

Hey Jason,
Welcome to the land of Cheese, Beer, and Brauts! A little late to the thread but I am not much of any help as I too am a transplant. Good luck on the home search. Hope to see that BT out on the river this summer...

I only lived there 1 year. I may move back sometime but who knows. Do you have the apache? I was driving down some random road once and saw a 36 apache in a driveway needless to say I was shocked. There was a guy by me who had a older fountain I think it was yellow but don't remember.

Anyway I figured he could go out of town to find a lot I found a old farm for sale that was pretty close to the Wal Mart in Pewaukee and it had some buildings on it.
