Called Joe and got some lady who said there not authorized to work on AC units. Other guy and I schedules don't match up. Tried marine dis counters and they can't look at it till after July 4th

This is the oddest problem, I've talked to people that do not work on AC units but know enough to get themselves in trouble and they seem to be more willing to help then a Marine mechanic. Either no one wants to touch or they just want me to buy a new one. One guy even told me that you can't get R-22 anymore. I finally found a guy here locally and he's going to take a look at it.
