Default Looking to check out Checkmate 270 or Velocity 260 in Michigan

Posted in the Velocity forum but figured I'd try here too. Hopefully waiting until next year to buy but was wondering if any owners would let me check out their boat. Specifically the two listed or if a rare occurrence that someone has a Tantrum I'd like to check that out too. Never been in either boat so I'd like to just crawl around it and check out the cockpit and cabin size.

Can bring you beer or your time.

I have a 253 but I can tell you the exact differences between a 259/270 (same boat just different measurement methods depending on year). I am located just south of Midland and you are more than welcome to stop by. I do like beer also.

If you go Velocity, go with the 280.

I agree, the 280 is actually approximately 26.6 ft hull.
