My boat is still 30' in the air. Sounds like it will be accessible by end of next week. Right now the River is overrun by fishermen, most of which have no idea how to safely maneuver their boats, so not being in yet isn't a bad thing.... But I may spend a few hours at the public ramp this weekend. That's always a good time.....

It was insane down by the public launch in Wyandotte around 8am this morning . Just watching some of them maneuver around the streets makes me not want to be anywhere near them out on the river.

Coming out of the channel at detroit beach boat club/ Sterling state park.

Dipped the 311 into muskegon lake and went out the channel for a mile.stopped and talked to a couple of fisherman and they report no debris or ice for a week in the big water.i didn't see anything eithier.
Waves were 1 to 3,occasional 3 ft.wow this formula 311 rides alot smoother than my old donzi.

Exactly! I live a block of the Detroit river in Wyandotte. Every morning, during Spring, I get woken up by the freighters whaling on their horns because the idiot Walleye Fishers won't move out of the freaking shipping channels. These guys are absolutely amazing. But It is fun to watch them all at the ramps. There are a few that know what they are doing, but a lot of them make me wonder if they tied their own shoes....
