LEOPA Fall Fun Run August 29th. 2015

Baldie Thanks for info. My main set is worked extensively by BBlades and that is the set I turned 2 port blades into leaf lettuce. It was going to take 4-6 weeks for repair so I bought a second completely stock set of 28 Maximus in the interim. No sense to work the "B" set. On my boat best was keeping the diffuser ring but smoothed the body of the prop and cupped the blades differently at the tip. Eliminated my on plane chatter and lengthy roll-up along with getting my top speed a hair better than original generic factory labbed props. Are you on for this weekend?

I will be at Put-in-bay killing my liver, leaving work here in a few to head out... I was just at a run last weekend in Traverse city and want to go to the run next weekend out of Lake St. Clair... I really need to sign up for Leopa, I have all the documentation in my e-mail, just been stalling....

I'm stuck on i75 working in the construction. 2 days off during the week so I can work 12 on Saturday. All you guys feel free to point and laugh, at the guy in the Pete with the cig sticker in the back window. At least I can watch them go by on the trailers.

We thought we broke a drive so we spend the rest of the day getting from Brownies to Metro Park and then back to Lake Sinclair and then to Toledo. Not sure what happened to the drive as when we got to the shop we drained the gear lube and there was just the normal minor amount of fuzz on the magnet. Not sure what the issue is as we didn't feel like tearing the steering down now as the engines are coming out in Oct/Nov for rebuild. Maybe the cable has stretched? Smitty, is it worthwhile to rebuild the Max Machine drives even with no significant wear? I lot of the 100 +/- hours on the drives are just on Sunday's and I think the speed limit on the Detroit River is 55 MPH :-)
