Cold & Rainy forecast for Friday combined with a lack of interest…
I can get the local merchants to pony up for trophies, drink specials, band, etc etc but they can't/won't do it for 10 boats…
Maybe next year…..

I know the feeling...and you did your best...All Michigan boaters want to do is...do the booze, boobs, babes thing...very rarely, an organized event or run...And it's even worst on Lake St. Clair...

It depends a little on the turnout, but I think there's room for anything trailerable. The parking lot is pretty good size and due to how close the restaurant is to Hardy (it's between Hardy and Croton dam) dam it's not uncommon so see boats there anyway as people stop for dinner on the way home from a day at the river.
There is also a big lot adjacent to the parking lot that we were going to have mowed short for parking.
If there was enough "pre-registration" interest there are also lots available close to the other bar - walking distance down the street - and along the side of the road.
It would take a LOT of boats before we ran out of available places to put them.
I'll see if I can post an overhead shot with the areas available highlighted.
It's probably all for the best…weather forecast for tonight is not favorable …seems like most of our summer up here has been this way.

I'm not sure what it was like up at Hardy on Friday, but for Saturday and Sunday the weather ended up not being quite as bad as forecasted---actually, the weather was dry---very nice and pleasant.
