We are right next to Goose Bay on Kring Point, about 1/2 way between A-bay and Singer Castle. We will be up every nice weekend from July through the end of the season. Feel free to say hello if you see us out somewhere!

Does anyone know if Kingston has public docking or do you have to call ahead somewhere to get a dock for the day?

Kingston does have public docking. It is on the far left of the basin.

First come first served.

I have never had trouble getting a slip.

Excited to get boating this year. Looks as though the cook out fell through so we are going to try and plan a cook out at our cottage at some point this summer ! Any recommendations for a good weekend?

Spent Saturday night at the Harbor Hotel in Clayton. Felt so good to be back at the river, even if it was raining sunday.

Ken`s is right you should have no problem getting a slip in Kingston the day docks to the west of hotel are on a first come basis and you can spent the night on them as well but no hydro or water. For Confederation Basin the main marina just called them on channel 68...

Did you try their hamburger....it is excellent.

Can you stay on their docks without having a room in the hotel ?

I didn't get a real good look at the docks, but they looked like they were close to if they weren't already finished. And didn't end up eating in the hotel, just cocktails.

Don't know! I meant to ask and didn't remember until we were headed home.

The only "blues" I am experiencing right now is not being up at the river. Still have work to do down south.

I will be back by Memorial Day.My question is...how is the water level?

Yes, they are public docks but I do not know what the charge is.

Yes we were out Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Coming back from potters on Sunday night about 7ish maybe? Just when it started to sprinkle for like those 5 minutes! Were you guys out?

The girlfriend and I are taking the boat up this weekend for her birthday. Probably going to camp at wellsley and get off the island for a weekend. Might run to Kingston for lunch. Anyone going to be up there?

We are taking a weekend off and staying home. The boy has baseball and all 3 of them have swim lessons. Then brunch for fathers day! I need to rest up after last weekend!!! Happy bday to Michaela from us! I might need some help with this whole windshield thing! Might be time for a windscreen!

Heading up next Friday morning for a long weekend if anyone is going to be out. Talked with Phil yesterday about getting together and running around if anyone would like to join.

Yes that was us! Heading to the big gathering at Potter's beach it was a great day! Did you get out? Perfect weather all weekend long!

Made it out a few times this year, water was low in the boathouse and finally wacked my prop backing out.

Took a lot off the "honey do" list this summer.

Heading south tomorrow.
