Weather for next weekend is low/mid 30's but lower (14 - 20) winds.
If that holds, we will go in and attempt our move from Midway Marina to Gem Beach. Hopefully there won't be too many boats in yet for me to tear up on the way over.
The Mrs and I talked over dinner last night and decided to try it even w/the forecast and use our boat for a cottage until the weather breaks.
We miss our getaway and the heater works great.
BTW, killer band at Bell Mells in PC Friday night if anyone is around that area.

Pappa's Boy's at Belll Mells. Seen em twice and they about burned the place down!
We'll see on Kellleys. We'd love to but may jump the ferry to do it.
Gem told me today they wont have shore power to the docks until the 18th so no heat or battery chargers. Called Midway and they are open for business so plan as of now is to continue w/the splash Saturday plan and write them a check for $300. for dockage for the month of April.
B-reak O-out A-nother T-housand

I'm behind on projects anyhow.
Fed our dinghy some steroids over the winter (and having davits built for it) and I'm having some teething pains making its new/used 25 hp motor work on it as high as I raised the motor board. No one built decent props for the older over hub motors so I broke out the hammer and grinder last night and may try it again tomorrow.
I have cabin fever bad (2nd Ohio winter after coming back from Fla!) and the Early Bird (even by ferry) might be the ticket to burn off the cob webs.
How about you?
