No you can not walk. Sunday morning will be a mix of dry pits in the morning at mentor mall, and wet pits all day at Mentor Lagoons marina. Also there not letting boats between the beach, and the race... So land goers will have a good view. Boats are allowed on the other 3 sides of the course though.

Boats will be headed to the wet pits in the am Sunday so there will probably not be much to see at the dry pits by 10-11 am. Races are scheduled for 12 and 2

I was also there this morning before coming to get the PQ ready. That was my first time seeing the unlimited boats in person, very cool! My 2yr old didn't want to leave after almost 2 hours, and everybody was super cool. One of the Stihl crew members actually let him come up and see the power.

Yep, I had a great time. Was out all weekend. Ended up anchored next to a badass 42 fountain, 37 AT, a sweet sonic. Awesome boats out all weekend. The racing was great, love that sound
