Is the owner of the boat mentioned a member on this particular board.

Speaking first hand as a Dragon owner....

You can ask any questions...

I have owned Baja's, Fountains and ran many other performance boats...

We are making some minnor changes with the Dragon, that has nothing to do with the way the boat was built...just the way we origianally rigged it...

I can tell you its built like a tank...but yet is fast....
even with our X-dementions to low...we still are seeing 102+ and still on the limiter at Mercury in Nov....thus the rigging changes...

Its the only boat I have run that in 3 to 5 footers it fly's level with no tabs....

I also have never been in a boat that had so little shock on impacted with the water...we are racing with the same seats as all the Dragons..I have been in boats with shock seats and/or racing seats that have a higher impacted level on your back....

Handling....until you run one of these boats....you really can't say anything....the best advise I can give you is take one for a ride...and let the boat do the talking....

If I was not racing in one now....I would buy #1 that is up for sale right now....I have seen the boat in person..I know how they run and handle, the boat has low hours and has been taken care of....and pricing...nothing out there compares on the market today...

Just my 2 cents....

Not to be a jerk, but I still am interested in the Dragon with the prop problems. They seem like nice boats, is there a problem with just that particular one? Would like to know for future reference.

Call Scott Smith or Craig Barrie at Dragon 954. 581.8355

Not sure which boat you are referring to but if it is number 1 then there are no prop problems.

No offense, but would rather hear from someone other than the manufacturer first, like the actual owner of the boat in question.

I am the owner of Dragon #3, the boat in question. First let me say that the post that was deleted was not appropriate for this forum. Second the boat is great, it just needs a few tweeks here and there. The boat is at the SPA right now getting everything fixed and a few BIG add on's The boat just had the wrong prop's and gears. I am happy I bought the boat and will bee even happier when the new stuff is installed.
