Default Who and What is GTMM

Thanks for asking:
The GTMM 27' is a 27 Magnum with a completely NEW deck, cockpit and engine hatch. The first one will be getting a Mercury 700, already ordered. The upholstery is already being worked on, as well as Troy at Supreme has laid out the Dash and all parts are either in or on order. ALL hardware is being imported from Italy.
The GTMM 39' is a re-designed Dragon , it will have a new bottom, no canopy, but will still be offered, and a re-designed cockpit to offer more headroom in case a canopy is ordered.
The GTMM 38' is going to be a cut down Magnum 44, redesigned cockpit, and cabin. This will be a wide Beam entry level Magnum style boat.
GTMM is a completely separate company than Magnum.
The company is owned by Giovanni Theodoli, of Magnum fame
The company is run by Scott V. Smith, from Cigarette, Magnum and Dragon
The boat is being built by Phil Mead in Sebring FL of Mead Floats
The boat is being rigged by Troy Hannon of Supreme Marine
The upholstery is being done by Custom Marine Upholstery by Jeffrey
The patining will be done by Eddie Guardado

I think it is fantastic what you are doing, I wish you all the business success. Build it and it will sell. The majority of my boating life was in a hot-rod 27' Sport, so I am a follower of your venture and products. Cannot wait to see the finished product, sounds like a very good offering, the three different models. Smart!

SSmith,

At the risk of upsetting someone.. I took your website pics and enlarged them, I really wanted to see the form and shape of the new boat! Please show us your plug or something . .

From my interpretation the deck has a deeper foot well cockpit area than the original 27 . .and a round windshield bulkhead with a smooth crowned deck to create more under deck space . .with a center cockpit entry . . .

So all built in contemporary layup this hull should weigh less than the real 27 Sport .. my guess is with a BBC Mercruiser and empty tanks you're right around 5000 lbs . .

I assume the hull design is as original and not modified?

Please don't add air slots , a Pad as in the Arrow 27 is ok . . .

Nice to see some progress!

Just an idea. Would be very cool to offer two lines of the 27.
One with traditional V, the GTMM 27.
One with a pad, the GTMM 27VP
(*vented pad).

This bottom does alot.

I agree with Mange, his bottom is the same as the US Phantoms, and it works great. Build just like the bottom in the picture above GTMM 27VP, now that would be awesome, efficient, and very competitive.
