Default Some Hallett Love

I wasn’t seeing any action in the Hallett forums so I thought I’d post a pic of my new to me Hallett 340 with Side Door I joined OSO years ago 04 I think and met a bunch of cool peeps on this site. To the point that Wrinkle Face turned me on to a gentleman also named Scott out in Michigan where I purchased my very first boat from him, A 36 Baja Outlaw. Loved that boat but the kids were young and the market was turning for the worse so had to let it go. Super happy to be back on the water!

Cool...you don't see too many of those around.

I am old enough to remember seeing a lot of Hallet v-drive and jet boats on the local lakes...same company? I am talking like boats in the early '70s - early-to-mid '80s...

Yes. Nick Baron passed away a couple years ago but he started out with Baron Boats then Hallett. Very nice high quality boats.

There’s a guy that owns a Hotel in Cocoa Beach Florida that we met years ago who had a 30 that I think he had just had restored.

Gorgeous boat!

Love the classic lines and style.

He Became a big-time supporter of the offshore races they’re in town as well..
